• FPT signs deal for HP services. (News).

    HEWLETT Packard (HP) and the Corporation for Financing and Promoting Technology (FPT) last week signed a service agreement appointing FPT as the computer firm’s Authorised Service Provider in Vietnam.

    Hewlett Packard products covered by the agreement include DeskJet colour printers, LaserJet printers, DesignJet large format printers, Pcs Family and windows-based servers.

    Within the scope of the agreement, FPT is appointed to provide maintenance and repair services to customers within and after the HP warranty period.

    The contract was signed just a few weeks after FPT became a joint-stock company, with the state retaining a major stake
